You must confirm your roof top tent ladder size before purchasing by measuring from the top step to the bottom step (see measuring guide picture for reference).
Includes:
– DOGGO RTT Ramp™
– Side D-Rings & Bungee cords (they come attached to the ramp). These allow you to utilize bungee cords around the back of the ladder for additional support. These help keep the ramp from moving, especially with heavier dogs. Bungee cords utilize climbing grade carabiners and come as a pair!
* Does not include actual ladder.
* Top ladder step must be unobstructed and free of any mounting brackets that mount the ladder to the tent

We totally understand how pets can be sometimes. If your dog refuses to use the ramp, we will gladly accept returns for as long as the product is still in brand new condition!

This is just what we needed. Great quality and craftsmanship. I made sure to get the Side D-Rings & Bungee cords. I would suggest the same. We trained our dog starting at small inclines and with lots of treats. I do wish there was a little more texture but not deal breaker. Would definitely recommend.

Well designed and connects to the ladder well. Our dog doesn’t love it but he’s not a big fan of heights. Going to strap it to another ladder and do some training at a less intense angle. Knocked a star off for the price; can almost get a whole ramp for the cost of this ladder cover.

I wanted to give it some time before I reviewed this product to give it some use and a chance to prove itself to me. After purchasing an iKamper mini, I researched ways to get my very active 40lb Lab into the tent. She’s super smart, and adventurous, so I assumed she’d be good at climbing a ladder. Nope… I tried for weeks to get her to climb the regular ladder before the RTT arrived, but to no avail.
When the iKamper arrived, I tried lifting her, but no matter which way we tried, it just didn’t work. I tried buying collapsable steps (thinking she would jump the rest of the way) and that didn’t work.
I saw the Doggo RTT Ramp mentioned on a Facebook group by another user, and decided to try it out. At this point we were camping in 2 weeks and I begged Desert Armor to try to get it to me on time. Not only did the product arrive on-time, but my dog was able to use it on the first try!!
I have since built a custom box that the ladder props up on (doubles as a storage bin while traveling and a short table to use during the day). When it’s time to go to bed, she knows and gets excited to go up as I set up the ramp. Up she goes and I push it to the side for the night then setup and back down she goes in the morning. So easy I wish I had known about this in the beginning.

I’ve been trying to find the best way to get my 60lb Pit bull in and out of my RTT safely for the both of us, I’m only 5’2” and I’m not able to carry him up and down. He also is too afraid jump out of the window of the tent to my tailgate. I came across the Doggo RTT Ramp, and thought it was a really good idea. Initially I thought it was super expensive for what it was. I automatically thought “I could just make that.” So I looked into it, looked at fabric and how to attach it so the fabric wouldn’t sink too much between the rungs etc. After some research I came to the realization that this is stupid and too hard just buy the damn thing. So I purchased the Doggo ramp. I’m glad I did. It’s constructed really well, all the buckles and bungees are really heavy duty. There’s also a big metal plate up top that holds the fabric in place on the top rung. Long story short, just buy it, my dog loves running up and down it, it came fast and I would still be trying to “make” a crappier version unsuccessfully, instead of going camping with my best friend.

So far, so good! I just received my order a few days ago and I started desensitizing my dog to the ramp almost immediately. I figured it would take a few days to get her into the roof top tent, as she is a more cautious pup. However, to my surprise (and with a lot of treats and praise), she made it up into the tent within 2 hours of focused training. We’re still working on her confidence with coming back down but this ramp has been incredibly useful already! While she is still small enough to be carried up and down, she is quickly approaching her teen months and is catching up with growth. This will be immensely useful going forward for when she is too big to be carried. The material is really durable and the system for attaching it to the ladder is simple, quick, and effective. The ramp is really sturdy!
I’m looking forward to many future camping trips!
