I have not heard from the shipping provider yet
We provide freight tracking as soon as its available (usually within a day of the tent getting picked up from our warehouse).
Please refer to the tracking email you received and contact the customer service phone number of the freight company and give them a call. We are unable to contact the shipping company for you once the tent is in their possession.
How can I track my order?
We will send you a tracking number shortly after your tent is picked up from our warehouse and processed. This can sometimes take a day or two from the time you order. If your tent is backordered, you won’t receive this number until it is getting shipped.
You will receive that tracking number in an email with instructions on how to track your tent on its way to you.
If you are having trouble locating your tracking number, order confirmation, or have issues with the tracking website, give our shipping team a shout.
Can I choose my delivery date?
In some cases, yes.
If you are looking to order a tent now, but would like to delay shipping for up to 30 days, we can absolutely hold your tent at the warehouse until you are ready. Simply put your requested ship date into the order notes field while placing your order. Keep in mind you do have to be present to accept a delivery (they will call to schedule a window).
If you are trying to schedule a specific day for the tent to be delivered on, we would be unable to do so. The nature of freight shipping makes that logistically impossible, but there should be a clear 2-3 day window when your shipment will arrive. The shipping company will also call you to schedule the ‘last mile’ delivery once it reaches your local terminal
Am I able to change my delivery address
If your tent is still being processed for shipment we can certainly change or update your delivery address for you. This is a very time-sensitive request so reach out to our shipping team as quickly as possible HERE.
Once the tent has been picked up by the freight carrier, we can no longer promise that it can be re-routed as it is much more difficult to catch a tent en-route and there are usually some fees associated with changing the address at that point.
My tent or camper arrived damaged what should I do?
Unplug Outdoor Co. packs its our shipments with the utmost care, but freight damage can unfortunately occur on its journey to you. Please ensure to follow these steps below upon receiving or picking up your shipment:
1. Upon delivery, please carefully inspect the shipment, and take pictures of any scratches, dents, and punctures. If the damage appears severe, we recommend that you refuse the delivery altogether so that we can send you a replacement unit.
2. Note on the delivery receipt if there are any damages, even if they seem light. Note the exact damages you are seeing. This is essential for a damage claim to be filed.
3. Send us photos of the damage (box and the actual product damage) and the delivery receipt, along with the specifics of the delivery. These must be sent within 24 hours of receiving your shipment.
How long does shipping take?
All products ship within 72 hours or sooner from the time your order was placed.
Do you offer tent or camper installation?
We sure do! Rates start at $99 per hour with a one hour minimum. If you’d like an install quote please reach out to us HERE.
Can I pickup my order?
Absolutely, you can select local pickup at checkout and/or on the specific product page. Once we receive your order one of our sales reps will reach out to schedule a date/time for pickup from our Phoenix warehouse.
Do we ship internationally?
We do not ship freight internationally beyond Canada and Mexico.

All international orders must have a phone number. We have no control over value-added taxes or duty charges. These are the responsibility of the customer. All international sales are final. We accept NO returns on international orders.
How much does shipping cost?
Rooftop tents
All Rooftop Tents ship via palletized freight for $250 to the nearest freight hub. Shipping to your door is $350. We also ship to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico for $800.Truck Campers
All Truck Campers ship via palletized freight for $800. Shipping to your door is $1000 Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico please contact us HERE to obtain a quote.All other items
All other items like RTT accessories, off-road gear, etc. ship via USPS or Fedex. Rates can be calculated at checkout. For more specific shipping info please click HERE.
Can i see one in person?
You sure can! Fill out the form HERE and one of our sales reps will be in contact ASAP to setup a showroom appointment at our Phoenix location or a virtual tour.
Do you offer installation for Rooftop Tents?
We sure do out of our Phoenix warehouse. Installs start at $200 for bed racks and $300 for roof racks. Contact us HERE to obtain a quote and/or book an appointment!
Please ensure your vehicle is prepped and ready by removing any gear mounted to your bed or roof rack.
What is LRT fabric?
LRT Fabric stands for ‘Light Reflection Technology’. We apply a black PVC coating to the inside of the fabric. What this does is help reflect any light and helps the inside of the tent act more as a thermos. It also makes it pitch black inside even in direct sunlight in the middle of the day.
Our rainfly material is silver lined which has a UV50+ rating and greatly helps reflect heat.
Is condensation an issue?
We do our absolute best to help prevent condensation by providing massive windows, anti-condensation vents, pole sleeves and mat. However even with these features present build up can still occur. It all comes down to ventilation. If you are cold camping one of our diesel heaters will completely eliminate any condensation.
How do your tents handle in the rain, wind or snow?
All of our tents are 100% waterproof and weather proof! We add velcro reinforcements, utilize paracord vs metal zipper ends and have integrated rainfly designs on all of our tents to help make them as water, wind and weatherproof as possible. All tents come with integrated AC/Heater ports and we offer insulation addons for all of our tent models to make winter camping as cozy as can be.
What kind of crossbars, roof rack or bed rack do I need?
Since our tents and the mounting hardware are universal, you can use just about any crossbars, roof rack or bed rack on the market.
What you’ll need to ensure is that your bars or rack has a dynamic weight rating greater than or equal to your rooftop tents weight.

Is mounting hardware included?
Yes all of our tents come with mounting hardware and even the tools needed to install the tent to your cross bars, bed rack or roof rack!
How much do our rooftop tents weigh?
Depending on the model, anywhere from 85lbs to 165lbs. We design all of our tents to be as lightweight as possible without impacting its durability whatsoever.
How much weight can our tents and ladders hold?
Our tents can hold just over 1000lbs. The ladder can support a weight of up to 330lbs.
How long does it take to setup or down our rooftop tents?
All of our tents are designed to open and close between 10 seconds to one minute at most. It may take a few times to get the hang of it but once you do it becomes a race against the clock!

Do you offer installation for the campers?
We sure do out of our Phoenix warehouse. Installs start at $600. Contact us HERE to for a quote and/or to book an appointment.
Please ensure your vehicle is prepped and ready by removing any Tonneaus covers/hardware, bed molle systems and that t-track systems are clear and empty. Please note that aftermarket track systems may not be directly compatible with the provided hardware.

How easy are Roamster campers to assemble and install?
They are very straightforward to assemble and even easier to install once on the truck. We provide you with detailed instructions and all the tools/hardware needed! You can check out the installation guide which includes a 4k video HERE.
Are roof racks compatible with the Roamster Camper?
They are not unless you choose this option for your camper. We can build them around your trucks specific measurements with or without a roof rack or even a half roof rack like a Prinsu Habitat!
Note: All campers that require extra clearance for a roof rack have a lead time of 3-4 months as they must be custom built to your measurements.
What trucks will the Roamster camper fit on?
Any truck! We will just ask you to confirm some easy measurements and we can start the build process custom to your specific truck which can be done HERE.
How long does it take to receive my refund?
Any refunds processed will be refunded to your original method of payment and may take up to 10 days to appear on your statement. We have no control over this so your patience is appreciated.
How do I change, cancel or return an order?

What kind of warranty do your products come with?
All of our Truck Campers, Rooftop Tents and Gear’d storage solutions come with our industry leading lifetime warranty that can be transferred to any owner.
All other products come with a 1-2 year warranty. Please see the specific product page for more information about that products warranty policy.

Why did my payment fail?
Typically the reason for a failed order is a credit card limit or fraud trigger from your bank. If you have a failed order, try calling your bank and having them pre-authorize the charge. If this doesn’t work you can contact us HERE and our reps can help you out.
Do you charge tax?
We do charge tax in states we have an economic nexus with. You can see if your state is charged tax at checkout after inputting your billing and shipping address.
What type of cards do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. We also accept PayPal, Zelle and Venmo.
Do you offer financing?
We sure do through our partners Affirm, Klarna and Paypal! You can view your rates at checkout by selecting them as your payment option. You can also learn more about financing HERE.

We’re not currently accepting applications for brand ambassadors—but if you’re truly passionate about our brand, there’s still a way to get on our radar! Do you offer sponsorships?
